Krefer & Turca “Rest study”








 
 

These photos were taken after the shooting of our video work "Action Painting No. 2", on which one artist drops candle wax onto the other's back during the sexual act, resulting in an abstract visual composition. It's not intended to be a technical register of the original performance, but rather an investigation on the effects of the material dropped on skin, moved by the question of how does the body rest after such as intense act of creation, but also how does the material "rest" on that body.
